Glow Swim

The Kingsport Aquatic Center is bringing back one of its most popular events for the New Year – Glow Swim!

This special nighttime event will take place in the warm water and play pools from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on January 4. The competition pool will not be open during this event.

Children of all ages are invited to attend, but those under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. The event is limited to 200 people. Admission at the door is $10 per person and $8 if you pre-register.

The Kingsport Aquatic Center will dim the lights and fill the pools with glow sticks of all shapes and sizes. Children can then swim in the “glow pools” and play on inflatables while their favorite music plays over the loudspeakers.

Children are encouraged to bring their own glow sticks to the party. It’s the perfect way to mark the end of winter break and the beginning of the New Year.
