The purpose of the American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor course is to train instructor candidates to teach courses and presentations in the American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor program by developing their understanding of how to use the course materials, how to conduct training sessions and how to evaluate participants’ progress.
This course is designed to teach you how to teach and lead an American Red Cross Lifeguard Course. It is dedicated to developing the knowledge and skills you will need to plan and teach courses in the American Red Cross Lifeguarding Program.
This course includes the following certifications: American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor Certification (valid for 2 years). Course fee includes a current copy of the American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor Manual. This course is approximately 25 hours in length.
