The state-of-the-art Kingsport Aquatic Center is unlike any other attraction in the region. We’re more than your simple neighborhood pool and more than a recreational facility, too. Whether you’re a competitive swimmer, an avid water aerobicizer, or you’re just looking to have some fun at the waterpark—we’ve got something for you at the KAC.

Our facilities and programming are designed to help our community have fun while they stay fit. Swimming is great exercise for all ages and abilities, and it’s a perfect way to have fun with family and friends.

Our 46,000 square-foot indoor area is open year-round with hours of operation that can accommodate just about any schedule you might have. Our indoor facility features three multipurpose, indoor pools that are specially designed for recreation and instruction. The KAC is home to the region’s only indoor Olympic-size swimming pool, the Competition Pool.

Each year from Memorial Day to Labor Day, the KAC opens its outdoor facility. Our outdoor waterpark features two waterslides, a water playground, and the ever popular 900-foot lazy river. If you’re looking for affordable summer fun for the whole family, look no further than the KAC.
