Indoor Pools

Our indoor facilities are open year-round. We are closed on Easter, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas. The facility may have special hours on other holidays or during inclement weather. Areas of the indoor pools at times may be closed for programming or classes.

For the safety of our members, guests and staff, all pools close during severe thunderstorms.

The low diving board opens at 4 p.m. on Monday – Friday, 11 a.m. on Saturdays, and 12 p.m. on Sundays starting in March (unless programming is scheduled in the pool).

Monday – Friday: 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

  • Lap swim / individual exercise: 6 to 11 a.m.
  • Open swim: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Play pool slide: 4 to 7 p.m.

Saturday: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

  • Lap swim / individual exercise: 8 to 11 a.m.
  • Open swim: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Play pool slide: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Available for private rental beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Sunday: Noon to 6 p.m.

Pools are cleared 15 minutes before closing time.

Outdoor Water Park

The Outdoor Water Park will be open daily beginning May 24 through August 3 and open weekends only in May (beginning May 17), August and September (until Labor Day), weather permitting.

Swim Meet Schedule

The Kingsport Aquatic Center hosts indoor swim meets year-round in the Competition Pool. Swim meets may alter the pool’s operating hours. Please check our Facebook page regularly to stay up-to-date on pool closures. You can see the entire swim meet season schedule for the 2025-2026 season here (dates subject to change).

June 7 – 8, 2025: Model City Invitational (Indoor Facility closed all day)
July 26, 2025: ETSSL Championship Meet (TBD)
August 22 – 23, 2025: Long Course Masters Meet (Competition Pool closed at 3 p.m. on Friday and closed until 4 p.m. on Saturday)
