Drool Party 2025

The Kingsport Aquatic Center is bringing back one of its most popular, annual events next month – the Drool Party! And this year promises to be bigger and better than ever as the facility expands the event to five days!

For more than a decade, the Kingsport Aquatic Center has ended its summer season by inviting dogs of all breeds and sizes to come down and enjoy a couple of hours running, jumping and playing in the toddler area of the outdoor water park.

Not only do dogs get to enjoy the water and make some new friends, but their owners can also get their feet wet and socialize with fellow dog lovers during a warm, summer afternoon.

Drool Party Schedule:

• Wednesday, September 3: 5 – 7 p.m. (big dogs only – over 25 pounds)
• Thursday, September 4: 5 – 7 p.m. (small dogs only – 25 pounds or less)
• Friday, September 5: 5 – 7 p.m. (all dogs)
• Saturday, September 6: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. (all dogs)
• Saturday, September 6: 2 – 4 p.m. (small dogs only)
• Sunday, September 7: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. (small dogs only)
• Sunday, September 7: 2 – 4 p.m. (big dogs only)

The Drool Parties will be the final swim of the season before the outdoor facility is “winterized” by the staff. In addition, the Kingsport Aquatic Center will offer giveaway raffles throughout the events.

Admission is $5 per dog (pre-registration) and $7 per dog at the door. Owners are admitted for free. Limit two dogs per person, and the dogs’ handler must be over 18. All handlers must have a leash with them and all dogs must wear a collar.

Your dogs must be up to date on all vaccines, including Parvo, Distemper and Rabies. Bordetella is highly recommended but not required for this event. Vaccination records are required for entry to the Drool Party.

Bark Avenue and Toadally Pets are expected to be onsite during the event. Dog-related vendors (groomers, boarding, treats) and food trucks interested in setting up at the Drool Party, should contact Madison Gump at madisongump@kingsporttn.gov for more information.
