First responders play a critical role in our lives every single day. These brave men and women provide assistance – often life-saving – during emergencies throughout our community, whether it be a house fire, an armed robbery or a vehicle accident.

In an effort to thank our first responders for all that they do, the Kingsport Aquatic Center is hosting a First Responders Day on Thursday, July 17. On this day, admission is free for police officers, firefighters, nurses, doctors, lifeguards, CNAs, and tow truck drivers if active ID is shown.

Join us at the Kingsport Aquatic Center for a fun-filled night of swimming, dancing, and more in the KAC Water Park! Enjoy a splash in the pool, groove to great music, and make lasting memories at the Fun Fest Night Swim. Concessions will be available. Tickets are on sale now for just $3.00 per person! Online ticket sales close on July 11, so don’t wait—grab your tickets early! At the door, tickets will be $5.00 with a 2025 Fun Fest shirt on and $7.00 without one. Anyone 12 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Kids under the age limit that do not have a parent or guardian with them will not be allowed to enter the facility.

All attendees must have a ticket to enter into the water park, even if they are not swimming. Tickets will be printed on your receipt when you register online, so please print off your tickets and bring them with you to the event for fast check in!
