Do you enjoy working with people in a fun, active environment? The Kingsport Aquatic Center may be the place for you! Because our facilities are open year-round, we offer employment opportunities for all kinds of people, all year long. Our flexible scheduling can easily accommodate your schedule, whether you’re a high school or college student or a parent looking to work part-time.

All our lifeguard positions require that you are an American Red Cross-certified lifeguard, a certification which must be renewed every two years. Not certified? No problem! Let us know you’re interested in earning your certification, and we’ll do what we can to arrange a training course.

Water Safety Instructors with an American Red Cross certification are qualified to teach group swim lessons at the KAC. Instructors without a certification can teach private lessons to students looking for more one-on-one instruction!

All applicants must be 15 years of age or older.
