Class Information
American Red Cross swimming lessons for all ages are offered year-round. Weekday classes include eight sessions, and Saturday classes include four. Class descriptions are available at the front desk or at this link. A swim test can help determine the best class level based on skills. Interpreters are available for guests with hearing impairment. To ensure proper service and scheduling, please call 423-343-6767 or email madisongump@kingsporttn.gov at least seven (7) days prior to the event date to request interpreter services.
Interpreter services are available at no cost in accordance with Title VI.

Participants taking swim lessons must have a current active KAC membership or YMCA membership in order to receive the KAC or YMCA discount rate. Season pass holders are not included in this KAC discount.

Classes begin on December 30.
Registration begins in person and online on Thursday, December 26 at 4 p.m. and ends on Friday, December 27 at 4 p.m. There will be a $10 late registration fee added if you register after registration closes. To make online registration easier please create an account before the day of registration. YMCA members who plan to register online need to show their YMCA card to the KAC front desk staff in order to update the system to reflect your YMCA membership prior to registration. Please keep in mind that if classes do not have a minimum of three (3) participants in the class, it may be combined or cancelled.
